| Welcome to the Lancaster County Dutch Market, serving Germantown and surrounding areas since 1996. The market is comprised of 11 different vendors offering exceptional meats, chicken and ribs , all sorts of baked goods, produce, cheese and dairy products, fresh cut flowers, a full service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a well stocked pantry with all sorts of dry goods, Amish butter-dipped soft pretzels and a huge selection of candy. Shopping at the market is a much different experience than going to the large grocery stores. First, you pay for each purchase at each stand, instead of having one central checkout counter. And very often, the person waiting on you is either the owner or a family member , resulting in a much more "downhome" atmosphere. | |
